Tyler Hewitt, PhD, currently serves as a Consultant at Ayming since September 2024. Previously, from September 2018 to January 2025, Tyler contributed as a PhD Researcher in the Physics of Quantum Materials group at the University of Kent, where Tyler focused on constructing microscopic models of one-dimensional chiral topological insulators and derived analytical solutions using advanced mathematical techniques. Tyler also held the position of Sessional Demonstrator, assisting undergraduate students and providing feedback on assessments. Earlier experience includes roles as a Software QA Intern and Sales Ops Intern at TraceLink, where Tyler worked on natural language processing projects and data analysis for forecasting. Tyler's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy and two master's degrees in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Kent.
