Sofie Stevens

Sofie Stevens is an experienced professional in human resources and communication, currently serving as a Docent HR & communicatie at Hogeschool VIVES since February 2022. With a long tenure at AZ Alma since October 2005, Sofie has held roles as an HR-manager and stafmedewerker HR en organisatie, focusing on recruitment, project leadership, and the management of employee insurance for executives. Previously, Sofie worked as a team leader of personnel movements at Vlaamse Overheid from November 2002 to October 2005, managing recruitment and retirement processes. Sofie's career began as an HR PeopleSoft Consultant at PwC Consulting from September 2001 to November 2002, where responsibilities included client support and HR service analysis. Sofie holds a master’s degree in personnel sciences from the University of Antwerp and a master’s degree in political and social sciences from Ghent University.
