Jochen Decaestecker

Jochen Decaestecker is a Gastroenterologist at AZ Delta, where they have been serving since 2006. They previously held roles as a Senior Clinical Consultant at UZ Leuven and a Doctoral Fellow at both the Institut Gustave Roussy and Clinica Alemana de Santiago. Jochen also served as an Advisory Board Member for VVGE until 2023 and has been the Head of Department at MDL AZ Delta since 2022. They completed their Medical Doctor degree and internal medicine residency at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and KU Leuven, respectively, followed by a gastroenterology residency program at KU Leuven from 2002 to 2005.
