AZ Elektrostav – privately held joint-stock company – was founded in 1992 and since then has become one of the most complex and important electrical engineering companies in the Czech Republic with many activities also in abroad. Its field of activity permanently expands hand in hand with its credo to realize power engineering projects and constructions from A to Z.

Promoting synergy and efficiency, AZ Elektrostav closely cooperates with its subsidiaries – among others with the joint-stock company Eltraf that has become one of the most progressive producers of transformer stations of all types.

In the framework of the Advanced Metering Management Pilot Project in the FUTUR/E/MOTION Concept of the CEZ Group, AZ Elektrostav produced electrical distribution switchboards ready for installment of Smart Grids modules. Such modules were finally installed and currently are being tested.

AZ Elektrostav is a member of the Czech Committee of CIRED, the Leading Forum where the Electricity Distribution Community meets.
