Karen Baroud

Karen Baroud is a seasoned tax professional currently serving as the Group Head of Tax at Azadea Group since November 2020. Previously, Baroud held key positions including Tax and Trade Compliance Manager at Thales, and Indirect Tax Manager at Deloitte Middle East, specializing in VAT and customs advisory services across the GCC and wider Middle East. Prior experience at PwC involved advising on tax implications and restructuring processes, building relationships with local customs authorities, and contributing to various tax-related projects and studies. Baroud's earlier career includes roles at Credit Card Services Company, Federal Bank of Lebanon, and other institutions, along with a solid educational foundation in Economics from Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
