Aurélien Thiers

Aurélien Thiers has been working in the data management field since 2006. Aurélien began their career as a Clinical Data Manager at Averion International, where they managed data discrepancies, generated and resolved coding, medical review, and Serious Adverse Events reconciliation queries, and provided inputs, assistance, and/or oversight with preparation of trial specific documentation. In 2009, they joined Actelion as a Project Data Manager and Senior Data Manager/Senior Trial Data Manager, where they were accountable for Data Management activities, assigned tasks and responsibilities within Data Management to trial teams, assessed ongoing and future trial resource needs, and led Data Management trial teams and maintained oversight of trial activities. In 2017, they became a Project Data Manager at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd, where they assigned tasks and responsibilities within Data Management to trial teams, assessed ongoing and future trial resource needs, and ensured that assigned trial team members executed Data Management functions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). In 2019, they assumed the role of Senior Clinical Data Manager at AIXIAL. Finally, in 2022, they will join AZAFAROS B.V. as a Project Data Manager.

Aurélien Thiers attended the University of Montpellier from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Master's degree in Health Engineering - Clinical Data Management.
