Ben Meager is a design and invention professional with over 90 patent applications worldwide and more than 30 licensed or sold. They are the Managing Principal and Founder of Paha Designs (2000–Present), a design and invention company home to EcoPour with 25 issued patents. They previously co-founded AZAK (2022–2025), where they served as CTO and Co-Founder and also held the Chief Executive Officer title. They founded Absolute Closure Innovations (ACI) (2004–2007), which sold airtight zipper solutions in 2007 to WL Gore, and co-founded Captive Spirits Distilling (2010–2016), maker of Big Gin, a 2x IWSC winner that was sold in 2016.
