Andres Pugi currently serves as the Managing Director for Canada at Azelis, a role held since September 2004, following a tenure as Vice President focused on specialty chemical distribution in the CASE, Pharma, Essential, and Food and Nutra markets. Previously, at GE Silicones from August 1998 to July 2004, Andres held various executive positions including Americas Elastomers General Manager and Commercial Leader for Elastomers and RTV, contributing significantly to the North/South America Silicones Elastomers Business. Additionally, as a Master Black Belt at GE Silicones, Andres led Six Sigma initiatives and was responsible for commercial technology management. Earlier career experience includes roles in new business development and market development at GE and account management at The Dow Chemical Company. Andres earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University, where education was completed from 1982 to 1987.
