Prashan Dharmasiri

Prashan Dharmasiri has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Prashan began their career as a Trainee Business Analyst Intern at IBM, where they designed and developed various systems and gained exposure to on-site hardware implementations. Prashan then worked as a PHP & Web Developer at Benworldwide before joining thinkcube systems. At thinkcube systems, they served as a Software Engineer and later became an Associate and then a Business Analyst. During their time there, they worked on projects such as AgriNous and LeapXpert, where they were involved in implementation and management of various modules. Prashan also worked on the Corporate Learning Management System project for Airtel. Following that, they worked as a Business Analyst at Ceylon Solutions, OpusXenta, and Omobio (Pvt) Ltd., taking on responsibilities such as requirement gathering, user story writing, and user training. Prashan'smost recent role is as an Associate Lead Business Analyst at Digiratina, where they managed and coordinated the BA team and was involved in various projects, including the Dialog Workflows Automation Project and the Ministry of Tourism project. Prashan Dharmasiri's expertise lies in business analysis, project management, and software development.

Prashan Dharmasiri holds a Master of Business Administration in Information Technology (MBA in IT) degree from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information and Communication Technology (BICT) from the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) in Sri Lanka from 2009 to 2012. Prashan completed high school at Richmond College, Galle, from 1994 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Prashan Dharmasiri has obtained various certifications, including Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in September 2021, and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in July 2021. Prashan is also pursuing additional certifications in data analytics and SQL for data analysis through LinkedIn.
