Ziya Ibrahimov

Ziya Ibrahimov, FCCA, is an experienced director in internal audit within the telecommunications sector, currently leading the Internal Audit Department at Azercell Telecom LLC since 2021. Prior to this role, Ziya served as the Managing Director at Baker Tilly Azerbaijan LLC from 2007 to 2021 and held the position of Assistant Manager in Audit and Assurance at PwC from 2003 to 2007. Ziya is also a member of the Board of Directors at the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Azerbaijan since 2025. Ziya holds a BA in Business Administration from Qafqaz Universiteti and an MBA in Finance from Midwestern State University, along with recent executive education from IE Business School.
