Samir Karimov

Samir Karimov is the Head of Risk Management and Sustainability at Neqsol Holding, with over 15 years of extensive experience in Enterprise Risk Management across various industries, including banking, telecommunications, and energy. They have successfully established and supervised risk management practices, particularly in assessing risks related to investments and organizational structures. Previously, Samir held key positions such as Director of Risk Management at Expressbank and Market Risk Manager at AGBank. In addition to their current role, they serve as a Board Risk Committee member for multiple organizations, including Azerconnect Group and Vodafone Ukraine, and hold a position as Chairman of the Risk Management Committee at AmCham Azerbaijan. Samir is pursuing an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management at the University of York.
