Smart works with a range of businesses and people as an adviser and executive coach. In July 2020, he co-launched Impact Central, an accelerator whose mission is to grow a community that supports impact start-ups and lets them thrive.
Prior to this, Smart was a partner in Grant Thornton for more than 20 years, where he held a number of senior roles both in client-facing and leadership capacities.
As well as being managing partner of Grant Thornton’s London Office, he led the team’s responsible for building and maintaining strategic and long-lasting relationships with key clients and also led their activities in the retail sector.
