Matt Howells is an accomplished professional in the field of technical assurance with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Technical Partner at Azets since July 2025, Matt has held significant positions such as Partner and Head of Technical at MHA from August 2023 to July 2025, and was previously with Evelyn Partners as Partner in the National Assurance Technical Group from July 2018 to July 2023. Prior roles include leading the National Assurance Technical Group at S&W and technical training at Littlejohn LLP. Matt began a career in auditing with notable firms including Pridie Brewster and Arthur Andersen. An alumnus of Trinity College, Oxford, Matt holds a BA in English Language and Literature.
