Russell Turner

Russell Turner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in accounting, tax, and business advisory services. Currently serving as Regional Managing Director at Azets since December 2021, Russell previously held the role of Managing Partner at Azets (formerly Garbutt + Elliott) from July 2008 to December 2021. Russell also served as a Director for Venturefest Yorkshire from 2009 to November 2015, an event aimed at supporting science and technology entrepreneurs. Earlier in the career, Russell was the Corporate Finance Director at Garbutt + Elliott from 1999 to 2008 and worked as a Manager at Grant Thornton from 1986 to 1999. Russell holds a BA(Hons) in Accounting and Financial Control from Sheffield Hallam University and a PGC in Family Business Advice from the University of Gloucestershire, earned between 2006 and 2008.
