Michael Yap

Michael Yap has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Michael is currently the Deputy Chairman and Executive Director at Azeus Systems Limited since April 2020, where they also serve on the Board of Directors. Michael recently took on the position of Chief Executive Officer at the same company in April 2022. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as Managing Partner at TNB Ventures since January 2016. In 2013, they founded The Co-Foundry and also held positions as Prof (Adjunct) and Advisor at NUS and NTU. From 2006 to 2013, they were the Deputy CEO and Executive Director at MDA. Michael also served as Managing Director at Oracle Singapore from 2005 to 2006. Earlier in their career, they were the CEO of Commerce Exchange from 2000 to 2005 and the CEO of National Computer Board from 1987 to 1999.

Michael Yap attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 1997, where they completed the SEP program. Michael also attended the University of Maryland, where they obtained a BSc and MSc degree.
