Jay Vlaminck

Chairman, Ambulatory Department at Kingman Regional Medical Center

As a diagnostic radiologist, Dr. Vlaminck reads and interprets medical images to detect and treat disease or injury in internal organs, tissues, and bone. Specifically, he specializes in interpreting X-rays, mammograms, ultrasounds, MRI scans, CT scans, and nuclear medicine scans, including PET. He is also skilled in image-guided medical procedures such as inserting catheters in veins, draining abscesses, or performing biopsies; which can be much safer and faster with the aid of imaging technology.

Dr. Jay Vlaminck received his doctorate in medicine from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He then completed a four-year residency in diagnostic radiology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
