Michael Shirley, ENV SP, is currently the Senior Vice President and Environmental Practice Lead at both TYPSA US and AZTEC Engineering Group, Inc. They have extensive experience in environmental planning and wildlife biology, having served as the Vice President and Arizona Division Lead at AZTEC Engineering Group from 2006 to 2011. Michael’s early career includes roles as a Senior Environmental Planner at Logan Simpson Inc. and an Engine Captain/Wildlife Biologist with the U.S. Forest Service from 1993 to 1999. They earned a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis on Fish and Wildlife Management from Northern Arizona University between 1988 and 1993.
