Michael Mercado

Michael Mercado currently serves as the Financial Reporting Manager at Aztec Group since September 2022, following a tenure at Alter Domus where Michael held positions including Project Financial Controller and Senior Financial Accountant. With experience in preparation of financial statements compliant with Luxembourg GAAP and coordinating with external auditors, Michael has also prepared tax and VAT returns and contributed to the development of internal and external reports. Prior experience includes roles at KPMG Malta and KPMG R.G. Manabat & Co., where Michael excelled as an Audit Assistant Manager and Audit Supervisor, respectively, leading audits across various industries and enhancing audit procedures. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from San Beda University, earned in 2010.
