Amber Rigney

Amber Rigney is an accomplished editorial leader with extensive experience in the publishing industry, currently serving as Editorial Director at Aztec since June 2020. Previously, Amber held the position of Vice President of Publishing/Chief Publishing Officer at Paxen Publishing, where strategic direction was provided for both the company’s library and newly acquired adult education resources. Prior roles include Executive Editor at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where Amber revitalized GED test prep programs and managed the development of Adult Education products. With a foundation in education as a Certified Secondary English Teacher, Amber holds an MA in Technical Communication from Texas State University and a BA in English from Lamar University.
