John Ceccarelli

John Ceccarelli has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. John is currently working at Azul Systems as the Senior Director of Product Management since September 2020. Prior to this, they spent a significant amount of time at Oracle where they held various roles. From November 2016 to August 2020, they served as the Director of Product Management for Visual Builder Cloud Service. From October 2014 to November 2016, they held the position of Cloud Tooling Director. Additionally, from October 2011 to October 2014, they were the Director of Engineering for NetBeans, where they managed the planning, development, and release of the open-source IDE. Before joining Oracle, John was the Co-Founder of ThrowDown.fm from June 2012 to June 2014, and prior to that, they held roles at Sun Microsystems, including Senior Manager of NetBeans Web Tier Engineering and Manager of the Technical Writing Group. John also worked as a Technical Writer at KeySystems.com and as a Content Provider and Music Critic at Album City.

John Ceccarelli received their BA in European Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they studied from 1994 to 1996.
