Simon Taylor has a diverse and extensive work experience. Simon is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Global Channel Sales & Alliances at Azul since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Strategic Advisor at QBS Software from June 2022.

In 2015, Simon founded Impact Messaging, a company that provides IT consulting services specializing in transforming IT businesses' messaging to buyers and enabling sales teams.

Before that, Simon held several senior executive roles in various companies. From 2021 to 2022, they served as the Senior Vice President of Global Channel Sales & Alliances at Nitro, Inc., focusing on expanding Nitro's channel sales and partnerships. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as the Vice President of Global Channel Sales & Alliances at Lucidworks.

Simon also served as the Vice President of Sales at WinMagic in 2017, where they successfully led the field sales teams and achieved substantial revenue growth.

From 2016 to 2017, Simon held the position of Vice President of Sales - Americas East, Canada & LATAM at FireMon, where they played a key role in achieving triple-digit growth and expanding the company's solution set.

In 2015, Simon worked as the Vice President of Global Sales - Archiving, eDiscovery, Compliance & Governance at Proofpoint, where they turned around and motivated a sales organization that had experienced flat sales for several years.

Prior to that, Simon held leadership positions at Commvault, where they led business units and global sales teams from 2006 to 2015.

Simon's career began at Symantec in 2000, where they held various roles and contributed to the company's growth and acquisition by Veritas for $225M.

Simon Taylor completed their education in 1988-1991 at Coventry University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their degree, Simon Taylor has also obtained additional certifications. In February 2020, they completed the Command of Message (Management Course) from Force Management, as well as the MEDDPICC Sales Coach certification, also from Force Management.
