John B. has a diverse work experience in software engineering and RF systems, with a strong focus on Python development. John started their career in the United States Air Force, where they served as an Airborne SATCOM Operator and later as a Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Technician, gaining experience in configuring LANs, administering satellite communication networks, and troubleshooting RF systems.

After leaving the military, John worked as a Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman, where they designed and developed a Python automated test framework for embedded software and practiced Agile methodologies. John also created and managed a CI/CD pipeline for regression testing using Bamboo.

John then joined the US Air Force Reserve as a Radio Frequency Systems Craftsman, where they continued to gain experience in RF systems.

John later transitioned to the private sector and worked at Leidos as a Software Engineer, specializing in data ingestion services, historical research, and legacy software support. John developed a Flask application to replace spreadsheet usage, and worked with a team to rearchitect a monolithic ETL pipeline to AWS.

At Clear Capital, John further expanded their software engineering skills by developing a Serverless data orchestration platform using Python, Docker, K8s, and AWS services. John also created data fetchers and refactored AWS Lambda functions.

Most recently, John joined Azure Summit Technology as a Software Engineer.

Throughout their career, John has utilized various tools and technologies such as Anaconda, Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, SQLAlchemy, Java, Nifi, Ansible, GitLab, and Rancher managed k8s clusters.

John B. began their education in 2013 at the Community College of the Air Force, where they pursued a degree in electronic systems technology.
