Beth Carls

Beth Carls is the Co-Founder, CEO, and Board Chair of OneSeventeen Media, a social venture that develops the reThinkIt! mental health platform designed to assist children in understanding their emotions. With extensive experience in social impact and entrepreneurship, Beth has served as a Principal Investigator for a National Science Foundation grant, a Mentor and B Corp Ambassador at B Lab, and a member of the SXSWedu Advisory Board. Previous roles include participation in the MovingWorlds S-GRID program, graduation from the Health Wildcatters Accelerator, and co-founding MindOH! Foundation and MindOH!, which focused on character education and youth outcomes. Beth's career also includes marketing leadership at Luminant Worldwide, and an educational background with degrees in Marketing and Management from Sam Houston State University and Abilene Christian University.
