Carla Heim

Carla Heim serves as Director of Sustainability Strategy and Operations and Senior Advisor for Purpose Entrepreneurship at the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), where Carla is a leading advocate for entrepreneurs committed to using business as a force for good. In roles such as Senior Manager and Senior Advisor for Social Entrepreneurship at B Lab, Carla Heim supports initiatives aimed at certifying B Corps in Canada and promoting social and environmental impact assessment among entrepreneurs. Additionally, Carla Heim co-chaired B Local Vancouver from June 2018 to June 2023, furthering efforts to foster a diverse and inclusive community in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
