b.well Connected Health Appoints Three New Executives

Healthcare technology company b.well Connected Health is welcoming three new executives to its leadership team. John J. (JJ) Ostlund has been appointed Chief Technology Officer, and Imran Qureshi has been appointed Chief Information Officer. Current b.well CTO Philips Johnson has also been promoted to the position of Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer. "I'm thrilled that JJ Ostlund has chosen to join b.well. He is a national expert in double-sided marketplaces, which is a key part of our strategy moving forward, and he brings decades of experience delivering complex and innovative products with a consumer and B2B focus,” said b.well CEO and Founder Kristen Valdes. “I'm also excited to welcome Philips to his new role building out an innovation and labs team to support moving the industry forward with b.well in the lead. And we are fortunate to have a leader of Imran's broad experience who is uniquely qualified to extract data from healthcare and develop meaningful insights that drive meaningful action." Mr. Ostlund has more than 30 years of experience in tech innovation and leadership, most recently as CTO of Expedia Group’s global holiday rental business, Vrbo. He has served at notable Fortune 100 companies Amazon, Microsoft, Boeing and Honeywell, and has advised multiple tech startups in a range of industries. Mr. Qureshi comes to b.well from Clarify Health Solutions, where he helped to provide care optimization using machine learning as Chief Data Science Officer. He has also served in tech and engineering roles for Health Catalyst, Acupera, and CareAnywhere. Mr. Johnson is one of b.well’s longest-serving team members, and is respected as a leading technologist of third-party applications targeting consumer healthcare. His new role will allow him to lead the expansion of b.well’s platform by further developing its product strategy and ability to share and integrate data.

b.well names Dunnie Norman Chief Revenue Officer

Healthcare platform b.well has announced Dunnie Norman is the company’s new Chief Revenue Officer. Mr. Norman will report to b.well founder and CEO Kristen Valdes, and will oversee the company’s revenue generation strategy and execution. "We are delighted to welcome Dunnie, an experienced, high-caliber sales leader with a proven track record for growing revenue as well as building and coaching world-class sales teams," said Ms. Valdes. "Dunnie is the ideal person at this critical moment in health care to strategically manage our growing pipeline of health systems, employers and payers who turn to us to transform and personalize the consumer health journey." Mr. Norman joins b.well from Vivify Health, where he helped to drive a period of rapid growth as senior vice president of sales and marketing. He has more than 20 years of experience working in business strategy and commercialization in the health sector. "I'm excited to be joining b.well to help accelerate the growth of the company," said Mr. Norman.
