Alex Dik

Alex Dik has had a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Alex is currently employed at B-Yond as a Principal Software Engineer, a role they have held since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the same company as a Staff Software Engineer from August 2017 to January 2021. Alex was also a Co-Founder and Open Source contributor at Zentadata, starting in September 2020. Before that, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Sigma IT & Management from June 2014 to August 2017. Alex gained experience as a Software Architect at Luxoft from August 2010 to June 2014. Alex'searlier roles include working as a Software Engineer at both Dr. Weigandt Software und Systeme GmbH from May 2007 to July 2010 and Technologies and Business from July 2006 to May 2007.

Alex Dik holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from V.I. Vernadsky Taurida National University, completed between 2002 and 2007. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including Machine Learning and Principles of Reactive Programming from Coursera, MCHD - MapR Certified Hadoop Developer from MapR Technologies, Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera, and Java Certified Programmer from Oracle, achieved in different years.
