Eric Barnard

Eric Barnard serves as the General Manager at B2Gold Corp. since April 2021, following a tenure as Acting General Manager at Otjikoto Mine from May 2018 to April 2021. Previously, Eric held the role of Plant Manager at B2Gold from January 2014 to April 2021, and prior to that, Eric was a Process Manager and Metallurgical Superintendent at African Barrick Gold from October 2008 to December 2013. Eric's extensive experience in the mining industry began at Gold Fields Ltd., where various positions included Gold Plant Manager, Process Engineer, and Senior Metallurgist, from January 1994 to September 2008. Eric Barnard holds a National Higher Diploma in Extraction Metallurgy from Technicon Witwatersrand, earned between 1993 and 1996.
