John Roos

John Roos currently serves as Country Manager and General Manager of Finance for B2Gold Corp, holding responsibilities that span financial budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with IFRS and SOX standards. With extensive experience in financial reporting and team management, John has progressed through various roles at B2Gold since March 2017, including Manager of Projects and Compliance. Prior experience includes a managerial position in audit at KPMG Inc., where exposure to international markets was gained through a secondment to Canada, and an article clerk role at PwC. John Roos holds a BaccHons degree in Economic and Management Sciences from Stellenbosch University and is known for strong leadership, analytical skills, and effective communication in both English and Afrikaans.
