Michael McDonald

Michael has more than 15 years’ experience in capital markets and joins B2Gold from Gold Standard Ventures where he served as Vice President, Corporate Development & Investor Relations from 2021 to August 2022. Prior to joining Gold Standard, Michael held corporate development and investor relations roles with SSR Mining from 2010 to 2017, and from 2019 to 2020. From 2017 to 2019, he was Vice President, Metal Sales for Goldcorp. Michael started his career in investment banking with CIBC and holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance, degree from the University of British Columbia.
