Daniel Cañas

Daniel Cañas has a strong background in IT and technology management. Daniel is currently serving as the Head of Cloud Center of Excellence at B2Holding ASA since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Innovation and Technology at VERIFICA from October 2019 to March 2022. Daniel also held the position of Regional CIO Western Europe at B2Holding ASA from February 2019 to October 2019. Before that, they were the Director of Informática at Acreditia Servicios Auxiliares from May 2016 to October 2019. Daniel's earlier experience includes roles such as IT Manager at Arvato Financial Solutions from January 2010 to March 2016 and IT Manager at Aktiv Kapital from January 2004 to January 2010.

Daniel Cañas graduated from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2004, where they earned a degree in Informática, specifically from the Facultad de Informática. Daniel then pursued further education in 2014 and 2015 at the Escuela de Organización Industrial, obtaining an Executive Master's degree in Business Intelligence & Big Data. This program focused on areas such as Business Intelligence, Big Data, Data Mining, and Analytics.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel Cañas obtained a certification in IT Service Management, specifically the ITIL Foundation Certificate, from AXELOS Global Best Practice in September 2021.
