Derrick Johnson

Derrick Johnson is currently the Senior Director of Scientific Strategy at B2S Life Sciences, a position held since 2018, where they also previously served as Senior Director of Bioanalytical Scientific Strategy and Director of Assay Development. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Research Scientist at AIT Bioscience. Derrick completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry at the Indiana University School of Medicine, where they were a Ph.D. student from 2009 until 2016, and also earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis between 2003 and 2006. Earlier in their career, Derrick gained experience at Eli Lilly as a Summer Replacement in 2003 and 2004, and held various roles at Indiana University School of Medicine from 2005 to 2016.
