David Hicks

David's rich career in energy spans operations, business, and technology development with specific experience within upstream exploration; he has been intensely involved in key topics within the energy transition field. He is an accomplished leader with over 25 years of progressive global experience in accelerated growth strategies, successful business development, strategic alliance management, and pioneering complex technical design development. Prior to joining B3, he held numerous seniors management positions within the oil and gas industry including Senior Vice President and Partner of IHS Markit Ltd. where he led the global upstream business; President of EMGS Western Hemisphere Inc.; Senior Vice President and CTO of TGS Inc.; and Senior Vice President of Halliburton/Landmark.

David began his career as an exploration geologist with ExxonMobil and holds degrees in Geological Sciences from the University of Southern California (M.S.) and the Colorado College (B.A).
