Marcelo Albuquerque

Marcelo Albuquerque has over 20 years of experience in information technology, currently serving as Associate Director of Information Technology at B3 since April 2013, with previous roles as Software Development Supervisor, IT Manager, and Senior Software Engineer. Marcelo's expertise includes senior systems analysis, technical leadership, and system development, with involvement in international projects. Prior experience includes working at TOTVS as Systems Architect and Senior Software Engineer, focusing on Java architecture and agile methodologies, and serving as Systems Analyst at Tools Software, where responsibilities included JEE application development. Marcelo began a career in software development at Banif Investment Banking, concentrating on JEE systems for the Home Broker platform. Marcelo holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from UERJ, earned between 2002 and 2007.
