B•A-G's origin dates back to the 80s when Beatrix Anton-Groenemeyer crafted her first handbag from leather scraps in Saarbrücken, Germany. Her creations quickly gained acclaim, notably at a leather fair in 1989 where her design was permanently exhibited by the Deutsches Ledermuseum. Despite a pause for family and a career in finance, B•A-G was rejuvenated in 2019, inspired by timeless design and familial encouragement.

Today, B•A-G epitomizes functional elegance, blending high-quality, sustainably sourced Italian leather with impeccable craftsmanship. The brand prioritizes transparency, traceability, and ethical practices, ensuring materials meet international standards and environmental efforts. B•A-G’s commitment extends beyond fashion to fostering women’s entrepreneurship and supporting sustainable initiatives globally.

B•A-G selects hand-picked leather skins directly from closely partnered tanneries, ensuring all leathers are natural. The materials range includes various calfskin prints that adhere to strict environmental and safety standards and are certified by STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

In line with its commitment to environmental responsibility, B•A-G packages its handbags in special cotton bags.
