Rushd Averroës

Rushd Averroës has a diverse and extensive work experience. Rushd started their own company, BABB, in 2016, where they served as the CEO/Founder. BABB aims to provide secure and accessible banking services to the global microeconomy, utilizing blockchain, biometric, and AI technologies.

Prior to BABB, Rushd Averroës co-founded Baffi.uk in 2014. Baffi.uk's mission is to deliver inclusive banking services and democratize opportunities.

In addition to their entrepreneurial ventures, Rushd Averroës founded the Averroes Foundation for Education, Healthcare, and Economic Empowerment in Yemen in 2016.

Before their entrepreneurial pursuits, Rushd Averroës served as the CEO of Wowpaymobi Ltd from 2012 to 2016. Wowpaymobi was a successful authorized payment institution in the UK, providing foreign exchange services and international payments to small and medium-sized businesses.

Prior to Wowpaymobi, Rushd Averroës worked as a broker at OANDA from 2010 to 2013. OANDA is a technology-driven financial services corporation that focuses on fair access to global markets.

Before OANDA, Rushd Averroës traded Forex and commodities at IG from 2008 to 2010.

Their early career saw Rushd Averroës working as a System Engineer at Bosch from 2007 to 2008, where the company provided technology and services globally.

Rushd Averroës has a diverse educational background with various degrees and certifications. Starting in 2014 and ending in 2015, they pursued a Master's degree in Microfinance and Financial Inclusion at the University of Greenwich. Prior to that, between 2008 and 2010, they attended Birmingham City University, where they earned a PS degree in Cisco Systems. Going back further, from 2004 to 2006, Rushd studied at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), obtaining an IT Science degree with a focus on Emerging Technologies. In 2002 and 2003, they attended the Institut Suisse d'enseignement de l'informatique de Gestion, where they earned an IT Diploma specializing in MCSE. Additionally, Rushd holds a certification called "diplôme professionnel de l'alliance française de Paris," although the institution, month, and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
