James Owers

James Owers is a seasoned professional in geology and hydrogeology with extensive experience in the field. Owers began his career as a Mud Logger at Horizon Well Logging LLC in 2011 before serving as a Field Geologist at Stratagraph, Inc. from 2012 to 2014. Following this, Owers held roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at East Carolina University in 2015-2016. From June 2020 to May 2022, Owers worked as an Environmental Monitoring Technician at Lincoln Agritech Limited. Currently, Owers is employed as a Hydrogeologist at GHD until March 2024 and has been with Babbage Consultants Limited as a Hydrogeologist since January 2025. Owers holds a Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Earth Science from The University of Georgia and a Master's Degree along with a Graduate Certificate in Hydrogeology and Environmental Geology from East Carolina University.
