Stefan Harms

Stefan Harms is a Senior Process Engineer at Babbage Consultants Limited, where since July 2013, expertise in industrial process engineering and project management has been applied across various industries. Previously, Stefan served as Technical Manager for Lignite Conversion at Solid Energy New Zealand Ltd from January 2009 to June 2013, leading a team in developing sustainable technologies for lignite utilization. Prior to that, from August 1989 to June 2008, Stefan was Technical Manager for the Coal to Liquid Fuel Group at Sasol Technology R&D in South Africa, contributing to the advancement of gas and coal conversion processes and catalyst development. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Potchefstroom University and multiple degrees in Chemical Engineering and Business Management from various institutions, including the University of Cape Town and the University of South Africa.
