Björn Maack

Björn Maack is the current Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Development at Babbel. Prior to this, they served as the Director of International Growth at Babbel from January 2019 to January 2021, where they were responsible for P&L management and growth strategy in 150+ countries. Before their work at Babbel, Maack served as the Director of Product & Business Development and Head of Corporate Development at XING from March 2016 to December 2018. In these positions, they led teams of product, UX, tech, marketing, and business development members, as well as developing partnerships and overseeing product development. From 2008 to 2017, Maack worked as an Advisor for various companies. Björn also held positions as Principal of Transactions - Strategy at PwC from July 2013 to December 2014 and Associate Director, Head of Transactions - Strategy from February 2012 to June 2013.

Björn Maack attended Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, where they received a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Björn then went on to complete a Ph.D in the same field at the University of Bradford.

Their manager is Arne Schepker, CEO. Björn Maack works with Hermione Mckee - Chief Financial Officer, Steven Meyers - SVP Growth Marketing US, and Deepa Miglani - VP Performance Marketing.
