Jon Mayer

Jon Mayer is an experienced video production professional currently serving as the Global Lead for Organic Video at Babbel since April 2023. Previously, Jon held the position of Head of Video and Editor/Producer at Mental Floss from January 2019 to April 2023. During a diverse freelance career from June 2013 to April 2023, Jon produced and edited videos for various clients, enhancing their digital content. At Sideswipe Media/Hatched, Jon served as Producer/Editor from November 2017 to December 2018, achieving significant growth in YouTube subscribers and Instagram followers. Earlier experience includes a tenure as Associate Director at Hook Arts Media from May 2008 to June 2013, where Jon contributed to a notable increase in the organization’s budget. Jon holds a BFA from New York University, completed in 2008.
