Maxine Bayer has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Maxine began their career as an International Marketing Intern at Shopping Basket in 2012. Maxine then worked as a Working Student in Strategic Business Development & Market Research at Doehler in 2013. In 2013 and 2014, Maxine worked as a CSR & Sustainability Advice Intern at :response - CSR & Sustainability Advice and as a Portfolio Development Extractive Industries Intern at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, respectively. Maxine continued their professional journey as a Working Student in Financial Sector Development Southern Africa at KfW from 2014 to 2015. In 2016, Maxine returned to :response - CSR & Sustainability Advice as a Working Student in CSR & Sustainability Advice. Maxine then joined Field Buzz (Field Information Solutions GmbH) as a Project Consultant from 2017 to 2018. In 2019, Maxine worked as a Consultant at adelphi, Berlin before joining Babbel. At Babbel, they held various roles including Executive Assistant to the CEO & Executive Chairman and Executive Assistant to the Executive Chairman & People and Organization Communications. Maxine also served as the Senior Executive Assistant & Senior P&O Generalist for a brief period before becoming the Team Lead People Engagement in August 2021.

Maxine Bayer earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A., Honours degree) in International Business Administration from Wiesbaden Business School in 2013. In 2014, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Development Studies from The Philipp University of Marburg, completing it in 2017. Maxine also participated in an International Summer Program (ISP) at Konkuk University Seoul, Korea in 2010. Maxine has acquired additional certifications, including a Diplôme de français professionnel (DFP Affaires) B2 from Chambre de Commerce Française, Intercultural Training / EU-Placement from inter.Research e.V., Project Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects in Civil Conflict Resolution from Philipps-Universität Marburg, and a TOEFL iBT score of 117.
