Deryk Beal

Deryk Beal is a speech-language pathologist and an advisor at Babbly. Deryk has worked extensively in the field of stuttering research and treatment. Prior to their current position, they served as the executive director of the Institute for Stuttering Treatment and Research (ISTAR) at the University of Alberta. Deryk has also held positions at the University of Toronto and Boston University.

Deryk Beal has a Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology and Neuroscience from the University of Toronto, a Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Western Ontario.
