Michela Rais

Michela Rais is a linguist currently working at Babelscape since May 2023 and serving as a project intern at Fondazione Bruno Kessler - FBK within the SpeechTeK Unit since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Payments and Fraud Executive at Sky from January 2019 to August 2021, and as a Senior Fraud Investigator and Fraud Investigator at Amazon from February 2017 to January 2019. Michela's early career involved working as a Translator/Communications Assistant at FACUA in early 2015. Academically, Michela holds a Master's Degree in Linguistics from UCL and is pursuing an MSc in Cognitive Science at Università di Trento since September 2021, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Politics and Development Studies from SOAS University of London. Education also includes attendance at Liceo Scientifico G. Spano.
