Alexander Schmidt

Alexander Schmidt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and innovation within the fields of urban mobility and engineering. As the CEO and Founder of BABLE since April 2017, Alexander has demonstrated entrepreneurial expertise. Prior to this, Alexander served as the Director of M-Factory at EIT Innovation Community Urban Mobility from December 2018 to December 2020. Before that, Alexander was a Researcher and Project and Competence Development Lead at Fraunhofer from September 2012 to May 2019. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Transport Engineering from Imperial College London (2013-2015), a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (technically oriented) from the University of Stuttgart (2010-2014), and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Stuttgart (2009-2013).
