Peter Schöngruber

Peter Schmidt is an experienced quantitative researcher currently employed at Qube Research & Technologies, focusing on alpha generation and portfolio optimization since May 2022. Prior to this role, Peter worked at IKOS CIF Limited from December 2019 to July 2021, where responsibilities included researching and implementing alpha-generating strategies utilizing statistical methods and machine learning. Peter also served as a PhD researcher at ICFO from November 2014 to April 2019, conducting an experimental PhD thesis on the interaction of light with few-atom thick materials and overseeing graduate and internship students.
