Benjamin Shaw is a seasoned Principal Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years of experience in design, manufacturing, and prototyping. Currently, Benjamin leads the development of innovative indoor hydroponic farming systems at Babylon Micro-Farms while also serving as the Founder and Principal Mechanical Engineer at Idea Guy Designs. Previously, Benjamin held roles at several organizations, including NORTHEAST LASER ENGRAVING, INC., where they were the primary engineer in the laser cutting department, and Memry Corporation, where they innovated technologies for Nitinol medical device components. Benjamin’s commitment to continual learning and improvement is matched by a positive professional attitude, making them a valuable collaborator in diverse projects.
