John Moody has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. John started their career in 2006 as an Area Supervisor at Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, where they progressively advanced to become an Area Supervisor responsible for 40+ associates. In 2011, they interned at Altria for the Engineering Leadership and Development Program, providing electrical support to R&D teams and working with PLCs.

From 2016 to 2019, John worked in different positions, including as a Show Systems Imagineering Intern at Walt Disney Imagineering, where they programmed in C to explore communication protocols; as a CTO/Systems Engineer at Spira Inc., coding IoT sensors and researching methods to improve growth conditions; and as a Robotics Application Engineer at Intellibot Robotics, where they coded scripts in Python, created 3D Point Clouds, and trained new hires.

Currently, John works as a Firmware Engineer at Babylon, developing software applications for automated IoT hydroponics cabinets. John collaborates with teams across the company to understand requirements and address pain points. Overall, John's experience demonstrates their expertise in programming, automation, and team collaboration.

John Moody completed their Master of Science in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating in 2015. In 2017 and 2018, John also pursued a Self Driving Car Nanodegree from Udacity, specializing in Autonomous Vehicles.
