Lauren Demosthenes

Lauren Demosthenes serves as the Senior Medical Director at Babyscripts, focusing on patient-centered care transformation in digital maternity care since August 2020. In addition, Lauren holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, where responsibilities include curriculum design and teaching in medical education since January 2011. Lauren's extensive experience in obstetrics and gynecology includes a long tenure as an ObGyn Physician at Prisma Health Upstate, supervising and teaching residents in the gynecology clinic from July 1985 to June 2022. Educational achievements include completion of the Robert Wood Johnson Fellowship in High Value Care, participation in the Scholars and Leaders Course by the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics, a B.S. in Chemistry from the College of Charleston, and an M.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston.
