William Bates

William Bates has had a diverse and extensive work experience. William is currently the EVP Technology at Babyscripts since October 2023. Prior to that, they served as the SVP, Engineering at ilumivu from March 2022 to October 2023. From October 2016 to March 2022, they held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Validic. William also worked at Digital Turbine as the VP, Research & Development from April 2016 to October 2016 and as the Sr. Director of Technology from June 2013 to March 2016. Before that, they were the Senior Systems Architect at Vocus, Inc. from March 2012 to June 2013. William served as the Director of Architecture at iContact from September 2009 to March 2012 and worked as the Director Datacenter Operations at ChannelAdvisor from February 2006 to September 2009. William has also held positions such as VP Network Operations at [x+1] (f.k.a Poindexter Systems) from August 2004 to January 2006 and VP Network Operations at Critical Mention from February 2004 to August 2004. William started their career as the Director of Network Operations at CBS MarketWatch (formerly Pinnacor) from February 2001 to February 2004.

William Bates received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maine in the years 1992 to 1997.
