Nigel Boothroyd

Nigel Boothroyd has extensive experience in leadership and governance roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Non Executive Director and Chair of the Nominations and Remuneration Committee at BACB plc since October 2020 and as Board Chair at Harpenden Building Society since December 2018, Nigel further held the position of Non Executive Director and Chair of the Risk Committee at Redwood Bank (Limited) from June 2017 to November 2021. Previously, Nigel served as Senior Independent Non Executive Director at Reliance Bank Limited and as Trustee Director at CSBA Limited. Nigel's banking expertise includes key roles at HSBC Commercial Banking, where responsibilities included Regional Head of Lending & Transaction Management for Europe and National Head of Corporate Banking at HSBC Bank Canada, as well as heading Corporate Banking for the Home and Eastern Counties. Nigel's educational background includes attendance at Thorne Grammar School from 1971 to 1978.
