David Lacy has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. David started their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Citi Group from 1998 to 2000. After that, they worked as a Corporate Finance Manager at DIVA Systems from 2000 to 2002.

David then joined Diageo, where they held various finance roles. David served as a Decision Support Manager from 2005 to 2006, Manager Financial Planning and Reporting for US Spirits from 2006 to 2007, Finance Director for Guinness West Division from 2007 to 2008, Director Financial Reporting & Control for Wines from 2008 to 2009, and Supply Finance Director for Wines from 2009 to 2010. David later became the Finance Director for the US Spirits West Open Region from 2010 to 2011 and the Commercial Finance Director for the US Spirits & Wines West Control Division from 2011 to 2012.

In 2012, David joined Plum Inc. as the VP of Finance. During their tenure there, they led the Finance and Accounting teams and played a key role in selling the company to Campbell's Soup. David left Plum Inc. in 2014 and took on the role of CFO & interim COO at Krave Pure Foods, Inc, where they helped the company become the second-largest jerky brand in US grocery stores.

From 2015 to 2017, David worked as the CFO at Habit Inc., a personalized nutrition company. David then became the CEO of SmashMallow in 2018 before joining Cora as the CFO & COO in 2019, where they played a significant role in transforming the experience of womanhood on a global scale.

Currently, David is the CFO at Bachan's, a position they have held since 2022.

David Lacy attended the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2003 to 2005, where they pursued an MBA with a focus on Strategy, Marketing, and Finance. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1998, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a BBA in Finance.
